Lots of major swords in the Zelda series are blue hilted.

I dunno, I guess now it looks less like a weapons that can fight the tri-force, and not like something licensed by NERF for LARPers?

You've made two errors here.

1. The white sword is the second of three swords, so it's not the strongest sword in Zelda 1.

2. The magic sword is the strongest sword in Zelda 1, and it is NOT the Master Sword.

So Rhanfahl's accusation of jackassery stands. And A Link to the Past is still the best Zelda game.
