The eighth (and current) generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, which began production in 2020.
The C8 is the first mid-engined Corvette since the original. It is also the third Corvette model to not offer a manual transmission option, a decision attributed to low cumulative sales of its predecessor's manual version.
