The series follows Note Athlon a young man who learns on his 15th birthday that he was gifted the skill "mapping" which is widely believed to be an inferior version of the skills "world map" and "area map." Worse yet, this skill uses up all 3 of his skill slots so it is his only skill. On the other hand his childhood friend who he has a crush on possesses 3 extremely powerful skills. Due to the extreme difference in skills, his childhood friend abandons Note and he begins living his days full of misery struggling to earn money through adventuring. All this changes when a young man named Jin appears before Note and tells him that his adventurer party need his skill.
