Usually pixiv's image files are larger than Twitter's. But if the difference between the file from pixiv and the uploaded file from Twitter is only 10kb, is it no longer necessary to upload the file from pixiv?

No, unless there is a significant visual difference between them.

ok, then if it is a commissioned image that has been uploaded and made public by the artist. But the commissioner still has a privately signed version of the file. Can this be uploaded as a son-post later? (Maybe the file size and resolution are similar)

@Dynastes_king not sure what you mean by privately signed, but an artist signature would be enough of a difference to be worth uploading, especially if resolution is similar. It would probably be a child post as the parent is usually the least marked up image

file size can probably be ignored if no apparent visual difference, as there are situations where a post filesize is 10x larger but no visual difference due to different compression techniques that don't compromise on visual quality, etc. Sometimes even PNG not worth uploading despite only existing post being a JPEG

This is only true in the case of a lossy-lossless image. All other times, even if the difference is imperceptible, a PNG is worth uploading over a JPEG, since PNG is *actually* lossless.

I don’t know if the text information on this illustration counts as the artist signature you mentioned.

No, that's the name of the commissioner, the signature is at the bottom left of both images. I'd personally consider a signed image or an image with text thanking the commissioner as inferior, and I wouldn't post it if there's already an equivalent or better textless image available, like post #6743639.
