After the API change a while ago [ topic #23284 ] just like Grabber I was unable to use Bulk Image Downloader; I emailed the developer, Dominic, and he kindly sent a solution.
However immediately after something went wrong with my internet --- I could use Pale Moon etc. and Rocket chat, all on Linux, but not update and mostly no internet on the Virtualbox Windows 7 I have to use to run B.I.D which is Windows only.
Then suddenly, as once before, it started running as normal when I hit Synaptic and found it worked, and all the other issues had vanished. ( I reckon there's something wrong with PCLinuxOS's networking, plus it's an old computer. Still it's the only complaint ).
I just tried the solution on Virtualbox and it works. For now it seems a faint slower than before, but that's probably local.
