It has recently come to my attention that a user by the name of "ArcieA" has decided to populate the tags of various alternate Kancolle costumes although it seems that he/she's only been able to fill out a small amount of swimsuit, valentine's, setsubun, and yukata tags. Now personally, I wholeheartedly approve of this effort but I get the feeling that there aren't enough people working on it which is why I'm bringing it up.

It's yours truly coming forward with the opinion on the matter.
Back when we were discussing about alternate costume tags of various gacha games (here and on Discord), we excluded the Kancolle characters simply because they did not have any official name for these seasonal costumes (and thus would not have any EN name to work with). While it may have seemed like a good idea at first in order to focus on these other gacha games, I brought up the topic out of the blue on March 11 on Discord and we agreed in principle to make chartags for the Kancolle characters because of other gacha games that have precedent on how we can best tackle KC's.
KC is a case of both "JP name-only" and "descriptive". So the thinking is that we use whatever names the official JP Twitter announcements use for these seasonal costumes (such as "Valentine Mode" instead of simply "Valentine's", "Haregi Mode" instead of "New Year") and go from there. I mean, if BA charas have that, KC ones should get the same treatment.
Now going back to the original post, yes, this is a new thing and while we do have some dedicated users focusing on KC, they may have missed this recent development. I'm only applying the tags from newest first (as well as getting Shigure Kai San (kancolle)'s swimsuit populated in full) so it might be detrimental to the oldest costumes. I appreciate the concern.
