I've been using it as a Godsend when it comes to doing large-scale simple tag editions, but I found a couple of issues with it.
1.) It can be easily bogged down if you use an unlimited page script, it seems that after prolonged usage it just stops working completely until you reload the page.
2.) Related to this, it is rather difficult to tell which posts you've successful added a tag using it, I understand this is probably difficult to do, but could there be a highlight or some direct way of seeing which images the tag script worked for?
If you're using an unlimited page script you shouldn't be tagscripting. The problem you're seeing is 99% because you've run out of memory. Instead use &limit=100.
You should really be using a negation search if you're tag scripting. If you don't remove the images that already have the tag you're trying to edit you're going to end up doing a bunch of bunk edits for no reason.

I do use a negation search on top of it, just when a character has 30 or so pages even with generous negations, I'd rather use an unlimited page script.
but I refresh it often enough as it is, just these issues are naggingly annoying.
I'll try @limit=100 however, since anything is better than what I got going.
By negations I mean negate the tag you're attempting to script, you probably shouldn't be scripting multiple tags simultaneously as it's rather hard to tell with a high enough level of detail that multiple things are positive on a post. (maybe if you're adding peach hat to tenshi posts or something).

I'm not using an actual script per se, i'm not sure if this is in danbooru normally or just the misc. tweaks greasemonkey script, I'm just using "apply tag scripts" from the dropdown menu.
I'm just adding a single tag (1tag) using it, nothing too complex.
Honestly, I'm having a hard time understanding you, mind if we carry this to PMs?
Maybe I'm not being totally clear. If you want to add, say, cosplay to a bunch of images missing the tag in hatsune_miku_(cosplay).
Search for "hatsune_miku_(cosplay) -cosplay" Do edit tag script, insert "cosplay", hit ok and it will default to apply tag script mode. Refresh every once in a while and it will continually only turn up images in that tag you are searching that are missing the tag you are attempting to script.
If instead you have a dozen posts each with a different set of tags rather than adding one tag over and over the edit tags option in the dropdown will open the edit interface for that specific post and from there you can edit it as if you had opened the post anyways.
