hand gesture tag question

is there an existing tag for this post #841285? or if none, is it worth making a new one?

i saw w tag. though no wiki, but there are two variants for this: one, from thumb to middle finger like post #67467, and; two, from index finger to ring finger like post #122159. should i use this instead?

any help is greatly appreciated. thanks.

I don't have a good suggestion but putting them under w for now so they don't get lost while we think of something else isn't a bad idea. I added it to the Madoka post for now.

Update + Bumping:

I creatively tagged all these images open \m/.

Most of those aren't even gestures, just hand positions. Should these tags really apply if their hand is just on their hip or something like in post #931956? I thought they were more for when a character is actually holding it up as an intentional gesture.

Agreed, these tags only make sense for things like post #1045453.

I don't think that just having the hand in the position should be enough to tag it with.
