Upload Feedback Thread - post here if your uploads keep getting deleted

Hi there, long time user of danbooru so I thought I might as well contribute.
I tried uploading post #7285242 but it was not approved. I can assume it's at least partially due to koikatsu not being generally approved. Is it purely because of that or was there another issue with the tagging/sourcing? I haven't had much time lately to figure out how to create an artist tag, is this another issue that could explain it?
I thought the animation looked good and people seem to like it. I would love to have some feedback on this if possible please as well as for any future upload.

Probably because of the post itself, not the tagging or sourcing. If you source something from a Twitter account with no artist tag, for example, there'll be options to create a tag in the upload page and if you click on Edit after it's posted. You can also create an artist tag in the Artists page. See help:artists and howto:artist for more.

Personally, I'll never post or approve anything related to Illusion games, but the oversized breasts and penis would be enough for me to not approve it.

Got bored feeling bad for the people who submit a ton of posts at the same time added the posts from the last 20 or so pages (found a way to filter after copy and paste) to a pool in case approvers find browsing that easier pool #21914.

Does anyone else want to? It feels like that would just turn into an approval begging pool.

I'd be fine with feedback, even if it's just a one-sentence "This art style's too ugly" or "This girl's breasts are too big for her body" or "Ew! JPEG artifacts!" or something.

Do mods look through this thread? I rarely see replies answering why images get deleted or not approved and it's just shouting into a void.

I have uploaded multiple bdsm themed images from artist suikabakunn lately and it's a coin flip whether it gets approved or not. At this point it feels like you should only go for safe approvals like blue_archive or something? Non-lewd images? I mean if thats thr only thing approves will approve. I can understand why some of my images are unapproved but some feel just because mods don't like the subject matter more than art quality.

Critiques and feedback would go a long way. I appreciate that I am able to hear something (sometimes) when I appeal a post thats been deleted. Id like to say more than 140 characters but it is what it is. But when some of the art subjects or artstyle is just subjectively not liked by whatever active approver is available in the 3 day stretch, idk what to say in an appeal.
post #7110923 is what I'm appealing at the moment. Id like to know why it did not get approved by whatever number of approvers. I look at the tag of straddling_paizuri and I think this post matches up even better than a lot of the recent approved ones. And even if it does get approved or not, I dont think I can post this artist again (despite his art definitely being good enough) just due to ratio worries and approval guidelines being subjective.

Exactly what I'm feeling. Plus appealing also costs upload slots which feels soo unfair it's scary.

I received a statement on the appeal for post #7110923 "Breasts for me, nothing to do with BDSM". I appreciate the feedback but its also frustrating. What is the issue with the breasts? This artist has numerous approved arts up with the same style of breasts. Why in this image is it bad. I just want to know if there is some secret sauce Im missing here? I truly do want to improve my uploading quantity and quality but I dont know how unless I snipe super popular artists (even then it might not work. As of this post how is post #7294835 not approved after almost 2 days).

post #7273490 for example is a recently approved straddling_paizuri. I think its fine but i think its lower quality than the post im appealing, especially when it comes to anatomy.

Which also leads to a question that I asked before, why is honjou_raita art accepted by approvers at danbooru despite his anatomy being absolutely terrible (from an objective point of view).

Art is subjective and approvers only approve art they think is good enough. There is no special secret way to get a higher approval rate. The only thing I can suggest is to upload more SFW work, as it has a higher approval rate than NSFW works.
Also, the queue is pretty huge with up to 1160 uploads at the moment. Approvers don't have the time to write something about every image they disapprove.
We also don't compare images while approving and just because one image has questionable breasts doesn't mean we're going to approve another breast focus upload. Escpecially because the whole artstyle of post #7273490 is different of your upload and looks better IMO.

I left the message because of the discussion above. I didn't and wouldn't approve the mentioned posts, but it doesn't mean I'd call them poor quality. Of course, I also dislike that Raita makes characters with horrible anatomy on purpose. Most of Raita's active posts skipped the queue, they weren't approved.

Im curious why post #7291626 did not get approved. I can only see the pose with the juxtaposition of the right hand being an issue but I do think this is minor thing for what is a nice pic. I it in for appeal

I mean, and I ask with sincerity, if the image has quality in it, should it not be approved?
I think Raita's art is controversial but at the end of the day, it is an accepted artsyle and it has a following.
I get some whiplash posting art from certain artists that have plenty of approved pieces, I upload a piece from this artist, but it gets rejected despite having the same style of art as approved/mod posted images. I understand the arguments for why half of my images dont get approved. But I think 50% are not approved for what Id think are weak subjective reasons.

Thanks for the approval. And I do appreciate the feedback
And I am starting to figure that sfw arts are a lot easier to get approved than nsfw. I wasnt trying to put down that paizuri piece, if I was an approver, id approve it too. But if I had posted that, I think it would have not been approved because I can see any anatomical critique being brought up.

I would like to bring this post #6821349 image up again.

In the past I was less familiar with Danbooru and due to that did not indicate it was a commissioner upload or who the artist was correctly. Understandable that it's very unlikely to have an approval given that.

With the updated tagging, do you guys feels like it has enough merit to be undeleted or is the quality too low?

Thanks for your reply. I had a hunch it was a combination of all these things. I get how most approvers may not want to accept any illgame-made content as it could open the floodgates so to speak.

post #7294835 was not approved. I'll appeal it since I think it looks good and fits with many of the art the artist has up already on the site.

I uploaded post #7294864 at nearly the same time. It got approved. I know you cant compare images one to one but if the same approvers looked at both images, what is lacking in the one that was not approved versus the one that was approved? Artist that drew them is well regarded, the anatomy seems fine. Was my tagging or translation a bit funny?
