Eh, no, you see, this art is not good and not in the calculated way of someone who actually knows how to draw but picks an "ugly" style for artistic reasons (giselebon or potaaju) - this is amateurish, unfinished stuff. Pixiv is full of these, who never make the jump to Danbooru. The storytelling is mediocre and the sense of humor is terrible, and not on the "so terrible that's good" way (this would be potaaju again) but in a trying too hard, cringe-worthy way. In my view, this work does not qualify to Danbooru.
I hope the artist keeps making them, posting them on their private DA page and learning and improving on the process. This is all fine. What's not fine is trying to lower Danbooru's standarts to make these fit here.
What I wanted to say at first: They are unfinished sketches, scanned and with some text put onto them on the PC. The artist should trace his stuff once scanned, finish it and put the text in speech boxes.
