The eyes in the first panel scare me.

I can't imagine Yukari really has that much difficulty cooking. Just manipulate the boundary of raw and cooked, and voila!

That just skips the heating part. Cooking usually involves mixing and cooking stuff in precise orders and stuff.

On the other hand, she could manipulate the boundary of "tasteless" and "delicious" on the ramen itself....

As well as the boundaries between edible and inedible, hot and cold, so on and so forth. She could probably eat toxic waste if she wanted to and still enjoy it like a 5 star meal.

Except Yukari has the most powerful ability in all of touhou, hands down.

I guess it's good to know that Yukari isn't dependent on Ran as much as Mr. Burns depends on Mr. Smithers.

Yuyuko has an ability that flat out kills its victim. No shields, no evading, you just die. One could also argue that Mokou and Kaguya's immortality is the most powerful ability, since an adversary could never permanently defeat them.

Border between life and death, immortal and mortal, respectively? Of course, this is assuming that Yukari has no limit when it comes to manipulating border/gaps.

If we would asume her abilities have no limits she would be nothing less than god (and by that I mean god creator) meanwhile we were shown that she is not strong enough to fight lunarians in regular battle and she herself says that she is no match for Shikieki (together with Yuyuko and Reimu). Whats more if we took that touhous powers have no limits (though it's never said directly if they do or not) we could apply it to other characters as well which, for example, would result in Reisen being arguably the strongest character, which we all know is not the case.

The concept of death has been completely removed from Hourai immortals. Maybe I'm remembering wrong but I'm pretty sure it's been acknowledged that not even Yukari's hax can overcome that.

Actually Yukari's ability is basically screwing with reality so from what you said, it should be the concept of reality is removed from the Hourai immortals so yes Yukari's hax can't overcome that

That said, it should be child's play for Yukari to simply gap Kaguya or Mokou into deep space. Unless Kaguya knows magic that let's her breathe in hard vacuum she (and Mokou) would just endlessly implode and since they can't fly at super-sonic speeds it'll take them centuries at least to get back to Earth/Gensokyo depending on how far she gapped them out (maybe even millenia and that's assuming they don't get turned around by accident; space is ridiculously vast)... and they'll be imploding all the while, making travel even more difficult. Kaguya has Eirin who might be able to track and save her, but Mokou would be screwed hard.

Hax sign: Border between Victory and Defeat.
Hax sign: Border between Good Health and Sickly.

The list can continue; just pile on all the buffs on herself and debuff Moko/Teru. Since she can warp to different places, she won't be easy (read: impossible) to catch.

Also, death =/= defeat. Defeat can come in many different form, and death is just one interpretation out of trillion possiblilites. Not to mention that there haven't been any canon battles that resulted in actual casualties in present Hakurei's era.

The Lunarian in question has the same power as she does. And it's been canonically (real word?) shown that Lunarians are at the top of the peking order in terms of species. If two beings have identical abilities, then the deciding factor is their respective stats. Also, Yukari's purpose was not to start an all-out war with the Lunarian; it was to antagonize the latter, but make them unable to reciprocate. And she did just that. She lost the fight, but won the battle.

Also, I never wrote Yukari was the strongest. I am saying her ability is the strongest (hence "has no limit when when it comes to manipulating gaps"). The actual strongest being would be Cirno.

These "who's the most powerful character" discussions are always so amusing. The thing is, if you have an ability that's powerful enough to defeat your opponent in an instant, it doesn't really matter if there are stronger abilities (unless of course, they can defend against the first attack).

Bottom line, if they actually did go all out, the winner would be the one rolled the highest initiative.
