Title: 今年一年、お疲れさまでした！
音沙汰なく年は越せないと思いましたので。
二か月ぶりになります。もう既に心身ともに問題なく、無事に年は越せそうです。今後は無理をせず、一枚一枚、描くことにします。
ペースは大分落ちますし、自分の中に色々思うことはありますが、描くことかとから何か見つけることが出来たらいいなと思っています。一年間お疲れさまでした

I thought we couldn't enter the new year without some news.
It's been two months. I've got no problems in body or mind, so I figure I can enter the new year safely. From here on, I'm going to draw pictures one by one, without pushing myself.
My pace is slowing a fair bit, and I have plenty to think on, but I'm hoping I'll be able to discover things by drawing. It's been hard work all year long.

Had an operation...what was wrong? Is it mentioned what kind at any point?

He mentions a spontaneous pneumothorax in post #1022564, but doesn't go into any more detail, which is just as well, since it's really none of our business.

Oh, I see. It looked as if DschingisKhan was referring to something in what I'd translated here.

Ah sorry, my bad. I was following these in order (of sorts?) and kind of aggregated the sentiment into a single comment.

Oh wow, sounds like it sucks. Yeah, it's not our "business", but it's hard not to be a little concerned. I just hope his recovery is going well.
