I suspect that might just be Momiji being overly competitive in a tennis game.

Because Aya said that if they don't try hard and give a good game she will expose them anyways.

Aya made the mistake of using the words 'give it all you got.' Momiji being Momiji, 'al you got' included 'even if you drop dead.'

As for why the tennis match isn't halted... well, Gensokyo, common sense, etc.
