I suspect that you are right but I'd really love for it to not be a coincidence.
At least one or two responders on Pixiv said as much too. Mizuki-san responded that seeing comments mentioning BEWD or Hyakumen really gives him a sense of the generation gap.
In my case I doubt it's a generation gap as much as a small reference pool...
