Err actually because of the spellcard rules, even if the spell is too weak, it count as a 'point' for a clean hit. Thus its like trying to get more points to win

Well... do u remember the post where yuuka had a conversation with akyuu and keine. Yuuka being on their intelligence of the educators would have already known that Rumia's plan was to exhaust hers. But whats strange is that Yuuka want to jump into the trap. Lets consider that even if Yuuka doesnt even know it, Keine and Akyuu knows it, and Yuuka's action of not taking the attack really piques me since she took far worse attacks by Reimu and gang without flinching.

We don't know what keine and Yuuka were talking about, so knowing about the plan was just an implication. Besides, how strong the attack doesn't exactly determine how effective it will be. For example, Medicine is a low-class youkai, yet she's one of the few, who can critically injure her.
Besides, she might be in playable character mode, that might give her a disadvantage of being killed in one shot(althought i'm just rambling here...).
I swear, looking at these comments it's like some of you are incapable of realizing that this is a danmaku contest... It doesn't matter if the attack wouldn't hurt, imagine the sheer shame of being hit at all, period, by Daiyousei of all characters, someone without even a single Spell Card!
As embarrassing as it is to have to bomb through it, it's better than people saying "Daiyousei managed to shoot THE Kazami Yuuka in the face!!" Danmaku is about grace, intelligence, and skill. Though raw, overwhelming power does play a role more often than not, that's seen as a sign of lack of real skill and class.
