Pretty sure the basis of the meme has nothing to do with what's actually in the picture. These are usually "blindlinked," i.e. a Twitter post that says "Hey, look at this Homura picture I drew! twitpic.com/fdsdfds". One clicks the text link and, lo and behold, they've been trolled. More satisfyingly than usual, but still trolled.
