So glad Alice got second! She is my favorite. Shanghai and other dolls got 80th which is nice too

Another thing is that she somehow got more 1st-place votes than any other character did. The fact that she managed to upset even Reimu in that department is a feat in itself.

I'm kinda expecting Sakuya to cosplay as Alice for dethroning her.

Don't know if want. I mean I'm happy and all for Alice taking 2nd, but dances like this are far too exploitable for character popularity. If she got 2nd solely because of that I'd actually be a little disappointed.

I don't think anyone, ever, will dethrone the resident shrine maiden from her perch. Reimu is, in a sense, the face of Touhou. So with that in mind, 2nd is nothing to sneeze at.

Didn't Meiling unexpectedly score first place before? Though yeah, seeing Reimu off the 1st spot is like seeing Gin off the 1st in Gintama's popularity poll.

That was in a Touhou Saimoe, which has nothing to do with these polls.

I'm very happy with how well Alice has done. It was ahuge surprise seeing as she made a large jump upwards. She got more 1st place votes than reimu so I'm hopful that one day Reimu may get kicked off her throne!

I doubt Morino Hon has much to do with it. Alice's dolls all dropped in popularity.

Huh. I guess it was more understandable back then a decade ago.
First it was Koishi, now it's Youmu. Though only for one singular poll (for Koishi, anyway... we'll see what happens next poll for Youmu)
