Yup... going up against Chado's Ran post-Yukari vs. Ran will usually just result in pain. Also glad to see Byakuren finding Youmu a challenge considering her extended fights with Yuuka...

The strongest Remi? Maybe, thought the most bad-assed has to belong to Imizu's Remi. At one point she gets her brains blown out and then proceeds to go on a rant about having her happy sexual fun time so rudely interrupted.

Yukari has probably moved ahead of everyone not Shikieiki or the Lunarians. She was consistently shown as growing stronger and stronger, whereas Remi had admitted in one of Chado's previous works to have grown weaker than she had been.

Yukari doesn't need to get stronger, she's the pinnacle of non-dragon (which are the high gods) power.
She's the smartest person in Gensokyo, is able to think faster then a quantum computer, has absolute power over anything that can conceptually be considered a border, is an Onmyodo of such unparalleled power and skill; that she made a nearly godlike sacred beast her docile PET, is fully capable of ignoring any law of science or even magic if she so wished and is able to plan so far ahead she intentionally fucks up her own well made plans to make them not boring, and still win.
Seriously, the only reason people win against her is because she lets them, otherwise the world would be utterly boring and trivial.
We're speaking of Yukari's strengths and capabilities within Chado's continuity, in which she's... not quite so nigh-omnipotent/omniscient. In said author's stories she was defeated in a brief battle by Yuuka, and not always powerful enough to be called Ran's master, instead considerably weaker and admiring of her.
