Y'know, I've been thinking about this for quite a while, Futaba Anzu being 17 years old and all. I really don't blame her at all for choosing to be a shut in.

I doubt anyone would take her seriously if she did look for work, or take her seriously as an young adult as well. I can understand that a life as an Idol is the only alternative for her.
