I couldn't read the writing on the rocket. The footnote says
"弾頭の色はもちろんシ〇ーピンク。" --- "Of course, the warhead is colored _____ pink" where the blank is a word I can't figure out that's partially censored.

I'm curious as to why the warhead has a Char fin.

I think the footnote misspelt Char as シャー rather than シャア (they sound very similar). With the middle kana censored out, that makes it シ◯ー. Fixed.
