Don't tell anyone, but I was lost for a bit in the International Terminal. Well, even if I'd taken a taxi, I wouldn't have been able to point out my destination, so I had to walk it.
Reader-added tags include "They have electric carts too, Kogasa-san".
Today's poll asks:
What would you do at times like this? • Walk • Take a taxi • Take a shuttle bus • Hitchhike • Give up
Another reader-added tag indicates that poll results for "Walk" and "Give up" are even.
LAX is bloody huge. I remember using an inter-terminal shuttle once in Philadelphia, and Philly pales in comparison to LAX. Not surprised at all terminals are that far apart or that shuttle services would be offered. (I'm reasonably sure Logan (BOS) works the same way, but I've never had cause to travel between terminals there.)

Every airport (major anyways) have shuttle services that give passengers free lifts to different terminals. I know at JFK and ORD they replaced them with monorails/trams.

LAX is huge, one of the biggest airports in the United States.
I've been in LAX before going and coming from an international flight. I was lost the first time around trying to find where the domestic/international flights were.
My only regret is I couldn't get enough money together to go see him. Maybe I will get enough together to go to Japan for a convention there and meet him XD
Having as little exercise as Kogasa, I wonder how could I walk through the same thing without much of an issue. Possibly because I'm younger than he is...
In the meantime... since Terminal 7 is an United terminal, his trans-Pacific leg is either United or ANA.
ANA and United are both part of Star Alliance; they frequently codeshare flights. His entire trip could have been booked through ANA or United, where his trans-Pacific flight was ANA and his trans-continental flight was United.
c'mon, it's not that much, I used to walk around 2200 meters daily to go to college... though I can't run more than 150 meters without getting dying tired
I mentioned there'd be a need to change terminals before he left, but I suddenly regret not having spent more time researching where to get buses and such... *g*

Trivia no-one cares about: we booked through United, and the flights were split as you said.
Guhhh...that was an awful experience...That's what happens when you don't get enough daily exercise.Your DestinationYou Are Here...it's 800 meters from the Los Angeles Airport's International Terminal to Domestic Terminal 7, where the Boston-bound flight leaves from.Hey, taxi!!I WalkedOnly...Maybe we should go walking together when I get back. That would be nice, yes.I just Googled it.So never mind when you get back, let's give it our best and walk now.Walk it, I said!!
