    三本の矢

    ■道草さんのSS「三本の矢」(http://roadksa.blog42.fc2.com/blog-entry-285.html)より。
    　動かない古道具屋の二つ名を持ち、引篭もりだの何だのと言われる霖之助が
    　弾幕勝負しちゃいます。いいな、読め！絶対だぞ！！！
    ■今回は、道草さんの所の霖之助を描かせて頂いた形になっています。
    ■オンバシラ、綺麗に並んで立ってたらどうしよう。
    　和紙に描いたように見えたらいいなー。
    ■久しぶりに見る閲覧数、ありがとうございますありがとうございますー！
    　道草さん効果なのか、早霖効果なのか、それとも通常私が描く霖之助がダメなのか…判らんでもないな(-ω- )

    Sounds like your saying everything that isn't in the games doesn't exists in canon. So that means Kasen and Akyuu don't exists because they aren't in any games. Or even Rinnosuke himself.

    Oh, sorry. That's not why I meant.

    IMO, Touhou has a lot of obscure myths loaded in it which are beyond my knowledge but the famous (and possibly cool) ones like 'Susanoo and Orochi' (stated in Izumo mythology, along with 'Hare of Inaba') are yet to either be mentioned or appear in games and sidestories.

    A lot of these myths make up the bulk of the backstory, usually mentioned in the sidestories or official manga. I know for a fact that Hare of Inaba has already been mentioned, back in Inaba of the Moon and Inaba of the Earth. Still, that means all the more options for new releases! Maybe Orochi will become the plot for the 14th game? Who knows what's going through ZUN's mind.

    Well, theres also "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter" which is a tie in to Kaguya herself as well.

    But ya, no harm done from your original post, just wanted to point out what it sounded to me. There are alot of things that are mentioned and shown in the Side stories and Manga's that will or will not ever make it to the games.

    I doubt Rinnosuke and Akyuu will ever appear in a game. But I also said the same thing about Luna, Star and Sunny. Then those 3 happened to be the main story behind Cirno's game.
