Mokou would not take that option. In canon, she would not lift a finger to harm anyone other than Kaguya (IN Extra was self-defense) and would even go as far as to help her prevent harm to others, as was the case in the small brush fire in the Bamboo Forest.

I sincerely doubt that hachi!Mokou would harm an innocent rabbit.
