Perfect candidate for "How is that even possible?" pool. Added.

With this and post #1278336, I wonder if there's a small meme involved.

Actually this is quite possible to do. If your limbs can reach the wall with enough movement to bend them. Then its very possible to do this.

Wouldn't you get pushed off backwards if you tried to keep yourself there by friction? It's all dandy and fine between two parallel walls, but I can't see it being done in a corner either...

I don't think it is possible the way she's positioned, but it might be possible if the positioning was different (probably straighter forming an "A" with the corner).

Well the comic is completely impossible since it's on a straight wall, but the corner thing could potentially work so long as the shoes were very grippy, and her legs formed almost a 180 angle.

I still say impossible simply due to the fact that she is leaning forward with her hands on the walls in a less than 180 angle. That means she is putting weight on her hands which should be pushing her feet away from the corner. From the way it's displayed, it also does not look like she is speading her feet to a full split, but is in a pose to prevent all exits.

Why is this impossible? I think we can rule out the possibility that such a scene could be set up with them posed on the ground, where the floor is made to look like a wall. Also let's not assume the possibility that her shoes could be glued to the wall, or that the soles of her shoes could contain strong magnets, and that the wall is made of iron or some other ferromagnetic material, because that would be too easy. Instead, I propose that they are participating in a laboratory experiment. What is not pictured is an extremely powerful electromagnet that been set up and switched on, and is causing her to levitate through diamagnetism. The experiment? To test the claim that women are composed with a higher density of water than men. The reason her hair and skirt are not flying up could be due to their low composition of diamagnetic materials like water. Of the scenarios listed, this is probably the most feasible. Now I want to tag this picture with science; if only it had a magnet pictured in it...

For the sake of funny, let's go with that, yes.
In reality, though, such a strong magnetic field would probably be enough to penetrate the skull, and play merry hell with your brain and all your senses/muscles. If done over a long period, the field could also interfere with protein folding, so you could end up with some sort of prion-based disease, or simply dead. Or even worse, completely reversed laterally after being inverted through the fourth (fifth) dimension .
In short, don't play with strong magnetic fields.

This possible, I used to do it when I was a kid, a lot. If the corner or the doorway is small enough and you have long enough legs you could pull it off.
