I can't be the only one who is disturbed by Capcom's decision to release 4 this summer and we get MH3U now, when it's already been out since december of 2011.
We won't get to see this one for years to come or never...
And why did it switch to Nintendo consoles? I don't care about that too much but I still question it.
Word says Sony and the MH team had a bad argument, and thus they moved to Nintendo. Also, 3U has been seeing great sales so far for one week, seeing that they're sold out everywhere. MH4's localization is almost assured.

It's more that Nintendo took on the cost to publish Monster Hunter Tri overseas. That's why we didn't get Portable 3rd, which was in PSP, but we did get Tri. Capcom never really intended at first to publish the first Tri in the West, but Nintendo offered to take care of the publishing and publicity costs in exchange for getting a killer app like a MonHun game. So I would assume something similar happened with its direct sequel, TriU.
Now to hope the sales of TriU have made Capcom see that you can actually sell Monster Hunter games in the west!

Well, I still find it pretty sad that they stopped making Monster Hunter for the PlayStation consoles. And to think I got so used to the crab-grip position of the PSP.. But the fact that Nintendo is shouldering the Locallization is also very nice. Hopefully, Nintendo will make a more fitting console for such games as Monster Hunter. The 3DS is a pain to play on, from what I've already experienced.
