Whether that's interesting or not will depend on the individual. :-) I love playfulness like that. I felt it was interesting, but such a waste.
Reader-added tags include. "How long ago was that, Kogasa-san?", "Reverse surprise, eh, Kogasa-san?" and " Yūtopia municipal commemorative mailbox".
(The "yū" in "Yūtopia" means "mail".)
The poll looks for the best place to send a letter:
There are all sorts of mailboxes. Which one is best? • Normal mailbox • Mailbox with some sort of statue on top • Mailbox that plays music when you drop mail inside • Mailbox that moves little by little at night • Mailbox to which a boy wearing a chanchanko vest comes
Well, Kogasa-san could always looks for a shop that sells mini-souvenir statues of Matsumoto. I'm sure there is one somewhere nearby. I suppose that probably wouldn't be the same, though. Oh well, though, one does have to wonder what they did with the statue and why they felt the need to take it down.
For the poll, a mailbox that plays music when you drop mail inside would be fun, depending the kind of music. It would awesome if it sounded like a classic music box.
