Um... what's to say Suwako was the mother? She could used her powers, as a goddess, to either impregnate a chosen human woman, OR give an already pregnant woman's baby her divine essence.

In the former, she'd technically be the father, in the latter, the child would technically be her descendant, if not by blood then by spirit.

but she didn't raise her child, she gave it to the humans.

I don't understand. I thought that those two are Gods and didn't "sleep" in the conventional sense the same way as humans. If they're too tired from sleep, that'd imply they correspond to human needs, which they shouldn't since they're Gods. Oh well, time to chalk it up to "it's a doujin."

Yes, exactly what I was thinking. It's more likely that she gave birth to a whole bunch of unfertilized eggs and then had a male human ejaculate on them.

Her experience with raising children would mostly involve keeping them moist.
