Au contraire, the only thing that kept Yugoslavia united during all that time was Tito. Everything fell apart after he died
So in the context of this image, that means the mother dies prematurely, and afterwards the young siblings tear the family apart, doing terrible things to each other in the process?
I think I'm gonna go cry myself to sleep now.
Yugoslavia was said to comprise “six states, five ethnicities, four languages, three religions, two alphabets, and one country”, a country that was a mixture of various races and religions. With his charisma and suppression of nationalism, Tito maintained the republic. But after his death, the country split up as result of the sudden rise of nationalism due to various historical and management issues.
His domestic policy allowed the citizens limited freedom of speech and political opposition, though this suppression was less strict than that in other eastern bloc countries.
In this illustration, Tito-sensei is the kindergarten teacher surrounded by children representing the six states. She’s popular for her kindness and charisma, but at the same time she’s also strict and won't forgive children who fight with each other.MontenegroCroatiaSloveniaMacedoniaSerbiaBosnia and HerzegovinaYugoslavia
