In fact, I took the models from pictures taken straight from SEED itself (anatomy included). If that could explain the shorter left arm on the girl on the left, she's walking. Or if it's rather about Milly on the right, her left forearm is slightly rotated and that's why the anticubital fossa is visible. I tried that pose on myself and looked at other models before drawing.

Uploading One's Own Art is Sacrilege

Posting one's own art is severely looked down upon, and there are two reasons behind this:

• Firstly, artists tend to be biased when it comes to judging the quality of their own work. What looks good to you may be regarded as mediocre to Danbooru moderators.
• Secondly, allowing posting of own work (self-posting) will cause a sudden spike of sub-par uploads as users mistake us for another Pixiv or Deviantart, far beyond the scope and capacity of Danbooru.

More suitable sites to upload your own art to include Deviantart and Pixiv.

Admins and moderators are especially harsh on self-posting artists, lashing out penalties without remorse. The one and only way to feature your art on Danbooru is to show immense talent and skill elsewhere, and with that, captivate some fans on the other side of the Internet into uploading your art.

Now now, buddy. This is a website for aggregating good fan-art from other websites, for people to search and browse. If people think your stuff's worth uploading, they'll do it. Hell, they even source to the original post. Posting your own stuff is considered a bad thing, since if one person gets to do it, a ton of people are going to do it, and then this place becomes deviantArt.

If your fans are captivated enough by your stuff, they would've uploaded it here. Alas, such is not the case, and now your stuff has a bit of a bad name. Not just because the art seems pretty generic compared to some of the pictures that've been uploaded before, but also because you're insulting someone for having an opinion.

The rules are clear, someone else must post your art.
Aside, I don't care how many people you 'captivated' with this, it's pretty bad when compared to danbooru standards.
The Anatomy is dismal, the clothing is... well, not that good, and it seems that you ripped the pose structure straight from the source material (scratch that, you did).
The fact of the matter is, this image has exactly 0 (ZERO) saving graces.
In fact, the only ‘good point’ about the picture at all is the Camo Pattern… which is hardly a saving grace.

If there were people ‘captivated’ by this piece, it’s up to them to post it here, not you.

I'm guessing it's due course. All the admins, moderators and so on get to see it, and if they want to save it, they will. I mean, unless the picture gains such infamy that it needs to be removed sooner rather than later.

Oh I love when this happens. Some guy who can't be bothered to read the uploading rules posts his own art on the site, and then when people remind them of the rules they get all uppity and defensive. I guess some folks just love to learn the hard way.

I was trying to be nice when I gave that encouragement and constructive criticism cause I knew this was going to get taken down. There IS worse art on danbooru, and sometimes I wonder why I even browse this website when I see it. But that's just like, my opinion, man.

OP, you are clearly in the wrong here, you made a mistake, apologize and move on. But don't give up drawing, look at the "Learning to Draw" pool on here and take some notes from the various guides on how to draw hands, coloring, and shading.

If you want specifics, the lack of shading makes everything flat on the navy blue digital uniform, and the hands you drew are too small and misshapen. Typically the distance between the base of the palm to the tip of the middle finger is going to be near or equal the distance between the hairline on the forehead and the tip of the chin. And the wrist, palm, and fingers are a mess of gentle curves and lines that you WILL NOT be able to draw without a lot of practice and close observation of references.

And try not to take everything personally. People are going to say your art is shit. People are dicks on the internet. But don't be a dick back, ask them why your art is shit. They are either going to fail to provide any reasons and look like an ass, or they'll give you a guide on what to improve (even if it is worded really rudely).

That's a win-win either way.
