I'd planned to drop them in the mailbox at the station closest to our home, but I brought them all the way to Osaka.

Incidentally, when I went to Kitakyushu the other day, I ended up bringing an envelope with a job invoice in it. It's all 'cause of that express train comin' when I got to the station! :-)
