Kaguya's not that plot-armored. It's just that Shiki didn't have much plot reason to go on, since she was really just there to be a fangirl of the original manga, so she was plot-depowered. The Plot is strong with Reimu, so I don't think Kaguya's got a chance.
Also, I'm having flashbacks to those images of Rinnosuke wearing nothing but a rubber ducky to not even fully hide his erection...

As we learned in the last match, opening posturing is nothing without an Aki sister.
Besides, working with Kaguya on making her entrance even bigger is a better way to buy time than trying to slow down the entrance of Red 75%. Not that Shizuha isn't giving a valiant effort, it's just that if you want Reimu to help delay things, you should simply tell her that and bribe her.
A bit of a side note from the pixiv comment: *The new name's suggested by Wols in Pixiv. *Storywise, they discussed the new name with the Master and Teacher, and selected without each other quarreling.
Kaguya REALLY gets carried away with these entrance performances with each one being more ridiculous then then previous ones.
Keine really has no shame since she WILLINGLY went with this and Minoriko gets brought into it too the poor thing. Then again Minoriko was the third poser with HS so this might be a reoccurring gag now.
And if you look at the audience you can see sweat drops on them so even they know this entrance is ridiculous.

The bunnies DID also dress up in sexy bird-like outfits during the second entrance performance so why not Swans? Either way this is screwed up, but in a hilarious away xD
What's screwed up? Bunny girls dressed as swans doing a dance that makes me think of Crayon Shin-chan going "Zou-san! Zou-san!"... this is a great entrance! Sure they aren't singing 80s JPop, but that's really a Moriya thing. You can't honestly tell me that you wouldn't like to see the dance in panels 2 and 3 animated just so you could be mesmerized for hours by its beauty.

Reimu really doesn't have any plot reason to win, just a popularity bonus. Hopefully that won't be decisive.

That's a plot reason for Reimu to LOSE.
A plot reason for Red 75% to win would be Sakuya's request of the teams in the other semifinal. It's a Chekhov's Gun, the request has been set up for a dramatic reveal. And there's just not a lot of reason for it if Remi doesn't get to the final where she can face one of those two teams.
I'm still cheering for PEM, though... I want to see what Kaguya has planed for her entrance into the final. Plus, Reimu seems to have set Red 75% up as heels for this match... which means that Kaguya can't really can't do the heel turn that was foreshadowed. Either way, the final needs a strong heel team... and it isn't going to come from the other semifinal. So being the larger heel in this match might be a good thing.

With Kaguya's PR mastery I'm sure most of her large fanbase still consider her a face (or a "The Rock"ish heel at least) If it came down to PR, PEM would win for sure, but it's not just PR and what Red 75% lacks in PR they make up with being highly effective.

Personally, I don't think there's anything to be gained by approaching this series as a metagame of duelling plot armors.

I've never assumed that any team has plot armour. It's just that half the fun of pro wrestling is in interpreting the storyline. Here the fights are "real", but there's still a narrative force, so reading plots is still in play.
The question is was is Sakuya's request, and what does it mean for this match. It could still go either way, it's just that it's hard to see Sakuya not assuming that Remi is going to win and asking to coach and second the other semifinal winner against her. But it is possible that she did qualify it with a "but if they lose"... in which case there's a chance that Sakuya was trying to arrange an exhibition match with the loser of the semifinal, where she could finally team up with Remi (Suika would probably be willing to step aside, and Reimu probably wouldn't be interested in a match without prize money).
I can actually see plot coupons working either way for Red 75%. On one hand losing would set up an exhibition/grudge match against the servants. On the other hand if (as I'm starting to think is likely) HS ends up going all the way, Remilia and Reimu are somewhat bigger "names" than Mokou and Kaguya, thus providing an even greater mountain for HS to climb.
Are those girls wearing rubber dicks that flop around in the middle two panels?
Now you can't unsee it.
