And it's complete bullshit too. That said that was also a month ago...
Use the No bump, Luke.
"2.8 million people dying each year as a result of being overweight or obese." - WHO "10,200 deaths each year are the direct result of an eating disorder" - ANAD So, please explain how it's complete bullshit, or don't such strong language another time. And since this comment I'm replying to is also a month old, I'll bump, but I'll try not to on such old comments if that's somehow a problem.

It doesn't matter which kills MORE. It's not a competition where the "loser" is to be ignored. Both are problems to be considered and treated.
Your post two months ago seemed to imply anorexia was irrelevant and thus unimportant. We are dealing with people's lives, there are none that are unimportant.
It does matter what things kill more. I don't think I've ever seen any art depicting the healthrisks and misery of obesity, but I've seen plenty of stuff like this warning against anorexia, and I've heard plenty about about fat-acceptance, but nothing about anorexia acceptance. There's an obvious need and equally obvious lack of will to run the sort of campaign that has been run against smoking.

It is relatively unimportant, or "less important" if you prefer that phrasing. Like the dangers of champagne corks, of which "approximately 24 people die annually from." Yes, yes, this is peoples' lives we're talking about! But I don't think we should concern ourselves as much with champagne corks as much as we should with cancer, okay? It's the same principle here, just to a somewhat lesser degree, and if more cases of anorexia is the cost of fatshaming the obesity epidemic away, as some people argue, it's probably worth it. You know why? Because a lot more people die of obesity than anorexia.
You can downvote me all you like, I'm still right!
You should care more about passing forward your "correct" message than of being downvoted. But what you seem to really care about is making a circus.
Although, I agree with part of your sentiment, acceptance of being obese is unhealthy and a trend I stand against. Still doesn't mean I should care LESS about why a person died.
People SHOULD be more aware of cork related accidents, too.

It is compasionate, because it works. It has to be consistent and from pretty much everyone, but shame is a good motivator for those who are capable of feeling it.

Maybe. It just makes me testy when people use the downvote in leiu of actual arguments. I do, as I get older, feel a lot more like being spiteful and less like being helpful, because actual honest discussion seems so rare and futile to even attempt, and you lose the energy to even bother caring.
I sincerely hope it's notable because it's an actual meal and that she usually just snacks on warm milk or tea or whatever.

That one here, it actually pisses me off, because the way it's written, with all these exclamation marks, it sounds like she doesn't believe it, and tries to convince herself. Meaning that if anyone tries to tell her otherwise, she'll repeat that as a defense mechanism and shrug off all remarks tied to how sickly she looks. These visible ribs make me sad.
Man I hate when people do this. "C'mon don't you wanna listen of this thing can we focus on this issue" or "c'mon my opinion is right and cool!" Like, I'm just looking at a nice picture man, I don't give a fuck
Have I gotten fatter?I'm skinnier! It's cute!I ate a meal.WorkFasting periodI think it'd be a good idea to lose some more weight.
