Really not getting the dialogue with tenshi and koishi. is the joke that the word in japanese sounds similar to koishi's name or is the joke that it has the same or similar meaning? trying to think if there's a way to change the joke so it makes more sense to english speakers.

Did what I could. Part of the problem was that Monhan got a bit confused. Ishikoro means "rock" or "stone"; "dice" is saikoro.

It's not that it's similar, it's just anagram of Koishi with added ro. The thing is ishikoro doesn't really mean a dice. It's more a rolling stone, usually a small one. Maybe I should just change it...
