There's still only one main body there. Since Kogasa normally appears to manifest a complete body (instead of just arms and a leg like a more typical kasa-obake), I don't see a real problem with her choosing to manifest four smaller ones instead. The current appearance of the umbrella main body is stated to be by choice, how much she can change the girl extension to it is unknown.
