Geez, according to Greek myth she was first raped, then pregnated with the rapist's offspring, and then killed by a warrior unknown to her while she was sleeping.
There are plenty of versions of many myths from Greece. In the case of Medusa, there are about three or four versions, all of them ending with her death. They mostly differ on how she gave birth to Pegasus, and why she was cursed with snakes as hair (SNAKES ON A HEAD, LOL)
