Artist's commentary
The emblem of our glorious torpedo squadron, made by Admiral's own hands.
It has been well received by only a few light cruisers and it held in great disrepute among many destroyer girls. "You should design something more cute!" they complained, "It looks like a pirate emblem, nanodesu..." The criticism has made him sad.
