    This is a reference to his color palette in the PSX port of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Due to the fact Dio's sprite is CPS-3 era, which exceeds 16 colors, his transition back to the CPS-2esque PSX port engine (which seems to be based from Street Fighter Alpha 3) is not well done. Shadow Dio suffers also from the same thing, but it's not that noticeable.
