Inazuma is one of the girls that can be chosen when starting to play Kantai Collection. During the Pacific War, Inazuma, together with her sisters Ikazuchi, Hibiki and Akatsuki formed the 6th Destroyer Division. Inazuma often sortied as escort ship, and despite her young look, her atmosphere and words is filled with desire to protect. But contrary to that, it made me want to protect her, let her sit on my lap and love her. Her famous words, "nano desu!" is a wonderful line filled with all her efforts. I’m sure there’s many Admirals who decorated their room with that wall scroll. I’m one of them.
The Inazuma who collided with Miyuki and Sendaimaru is the second Inazuma. Actually, the first and third Inazuma also had collision incident. This is not just "clumsy girl" anymore, that name deserved to be called a cursed name. - Inazuma I : 2nd ship in Ikazuchi class torpedo boat destroyer. On December 16th 1909, she collided with merchant vessel off shore Hakodate, Hokkaido and sank. - Inazuma II : 4th ship in Akatsuki class destroyer. The version in Kantai Collection. - Inazuma III : 2nd ship in Ikazuchi class destroyer escort. JDF DE 203. On June 4th 1960, she collided with Akebono (DE 201) destroying her bridge and killing two crewmen as well as injuring 2 crewmen. - Inazuma IV : 5th ship in Murasame class destroyer. JDF DD 105. Commissioned March 15th 2000. So far so good.
During the Second Battle of Java Sea, Inazuma rescued 376 survivors from the British heavy cruiser Exeter. The next day, her sister Ikazuchi rescued survivors from the destroyer Encounter. This action gave them good reputations afterward.
