So Nazrin has mice helping her cook and they find it disgusting?

As a person who knows a lot about animals let me just point out that is a great idea. Mice and any creature that often lives/eats/travels in potential areas of filth are VERY meticulous and obsessive about cleaning themselves to prevent disease. Even when domesticated and kept in a clean environment they still maintain such behavior making them completely safe to touch and allow to roam into sterile places.

    Chocolatier Nazrin! Much approved!

Also, all mouse having OCD explains Ratatouille.

Well, Remy was actually a rat, but this is a behavior that mice and rats share.

Cockroaches also have this behavior, don't they?

Black plague I'll grant you, but mice aren't actually carriers of dysentery are they?

I remember reading that there's something about a cockroach's carapace that germs have trouble sticking to, and that they're generally cleaner than whatever they happen to be standing on.

That said, I'm not really sure how much insects groom themselves, although I've read that flies don't so much get clean as smear filth around until it's too thin to annoy them.

The main vectors for dysentery are ingesting food or water contaminated by waste matter from humans or animals and other oral contact with similar contaminants. Although it is possible for rat waste to be the source, they are unlikely to themselves be carriers (especially considering that people probably won't want to eat any food that a rat or mouse has been walking on, regardless of their actual preening habits).

And, just for anyone who is curious, there has been some research (second result for Google search for "dysentery vector") into the potential for houseflies to be carriers of certain strains of dysentery, especially considering how people are more likely to eat food that flies have been walking on (especially considering how much harder it would be to notice that) and how much time flies spend around feces.

    Is it cookies?
    S-sorry, it's just image-wise...you know?
Wasn't it tough making this much?
    They're brownies.
    They're moist without being sticky.
There's enough for everyone, so help yourself.
No, since I got these boys to help me...
    ...there was nothing to it.
    Oooh, that smells good!
Well, they taste good as normal...
    Let's try some too.
Why'd she name them like that...?
Hmph. How rude to make such faces. I like being clean, and they're staying hygienic too.
Thanks for all your help, Black Plague and Dysentery.
