The first panel states "Kongou Kai", even though we know that she got remodeled in a previous strip . Is this eligible for the "error" tag?

I'm actually surprised that Inu admiral can use Houshou so effectively all the way up to 5-1. She's the worst CVL.

Not that I'm complaining, she's also my favorite CVL. I wish I knew just what he was equipping on her so I could emulate that...

In the previous strip he's marrying Houshou, so she should've been 99 already.

I don't think so. It's not an artistic error, and might not even be an error depending on how he's managed his fleet and if he made that up for storyline.

Actually, if you notice ingame, the fleet status things only have room for 3 kanji. So, for example, if you put in Kitakami Kai Ni in your fleet, the name will only show up as Kitakami Kai, which is 3 kanji.

So if anything, the Kitakami Kai Ni 4 kanji is what should be the error.

And as for the "Houshou at level 97" thing, this could a retelling of events before the marriage event.

Or he could be planning to marry Houshou once she hits lv 99. Either way.

Well, all Kongous the author drew after the remodel/upgrade strip are Mk II, so I'd assume it would be a small overlook... If Farran's statement below is incorrect, that is...

yeah, kongou kai-2 only shows up as kongou kai. the kanji for "2" was not shown in the fleet info screen
i'm more surprised that he didn't use akagi that much, considering she should be the first few CV you can get (unless he got lucky with CV construction)

He only has 3 CV. In previous strip he stopped levelling Akagi because of bauxite crisis and didn't restart until he got Kaga

FYI, "スルっと" means "smoothly" or "glidingly".

About Houshou's level.... Couldn't that be a "9"? I do write "9"s that way in hurries. Not much lately though.

Since she was level 95 on post #1607596, I wouldn't doubt it.

Changed Houshou's level tag to 97. As you can see in the fleet info screen, her level is 97 and not 95,
