It very well may be the thing that finally picks up the "Mifi's unrequited desire for Elza" issue and turns it into a proper plot line with a proper resolution, rather than just a running gag. And although it might start out sad (like Mifi running away and leaving some "I know when I'm not wanted" kind of note), I'm still hopeful that it will end for the better eventually. Raku-sensei doesn't seem to go all that grimdark in his plot lines.

I believe the closest he went to grimdark was Ran's backstory of being Raped and Killed.

Even if Tama's backstory was also being killed, it ended in a "you were a worthy opponent" kinda thing.

Also, it sounds like the story gets super serious in the "Future" if Meguru's "Foward story" is to be believed. I actually hope he plans to draw a "230+ years later" kinda side story. Yes i know it's 240 years, i say 230 so i can see more lead up.

Probably not now if tama suddenly had a boyfriend then yea riot shields would be needed.

Tama being much younger(technically), the romance would need to be a slow build up. But for Elza being like a couple thousand years old, I myself am perfectly fine with a sudden appearance since it's not like we've seen every aspect of her's or Seren's life.

Hmm, you're right, that's pretty strange. Maybe it actually says "If Rin-chan finds out" or something? Otherwise, we'd need to ask Raku-sensei about it :3
