    Several previous posts imply sexual harassment by numerous admirals or outright rape. They're generally rather subtle, relatively speaking, which I think is a good effect in the artistic sense, as it implies how easily everyone else around her fails to see it. (It's my own personal head-canon that Akebono's hatred of admirals comes from seeing her "little sister" Ushio get sexually harassed, leading to her "Hyaa!" personality.)

    Considering how the people she has been abused by in the past have all been admirals, however, odds are, she's likely to expect this one to be more likely to end badly than before... But then, it's possible she just followed this guy to his home, so she may have simply "given up" on trying to defend herself.
