You must remember that many fans don't actually research WW2 ships that much, or at the very least enough. You can't really hold it out on them, but at the same time I do agree that some effort should at the very least be put into research. Although it could be that they just want to be fancy by adding random parts in because they just want to be creative or something.

That's no fucking excuse. Even someone with zero knowledge on WW2 ships should know that representing an American warship with a Chinese character does not work.
Of course, when the good folks on the World of Warships forum tried to explain this to the artist, she threw a tantrum.
