Desperate pleas of emotion can be done without snot coming out the nose and giant tear blobs that nullify all dignity. Dramatic characters just get tiny tear sparkles flying from their face as they say the most dramatically punctuated line.

I guess it suits her well, and various characters as well. A child that think it's a full "grown up", but can't keep it in emotional situations.

A "teenager" Destroyer(since in reality, she is). A bit different of Akatsuki, but still...

This series has been well-written so far. I hope tonda keeps coming with it.

In fact if he does publish all these in a book(s) someday I'd buy it.

She's graduated from Butt Monkey to Woobie. I mean, come on! It was either Tatsuda get sent away or the Admiral is offed. And this Tenryuu has been established that she loves both.

If you're not crying in a situation like that, you're either a shell-shocked war vet or a deadpan snarker. And I highly doubt this Tenryuu is either.
