That's because the backlash against someone trying to get something deleted is more vociferous and potentially held personally against the flagger than against someone trying to justify an image's presence.

I'm not sure why they both can't be anonymous, but I guess it would be helpful to keep in mind when the same person who uploaded in the first place is the appealing party.

Also, I'll note that you're only supposed to appeal after it's been deleted, anyway. If you want to make an argument why it should stay while it's being flagged, you should just comment, which wouldn't be anonymous either way. (And generally, the janitors can make up their own minds.)

Those who have account statuses as Janitors and above can see who flagged a post.
This is done because they are the only ones who have the means to accept or repeal the flag and to weed out abusers.

These generally have a rough, amateur look to them and not a lot good in them. The proportions are inconsistent and the faces, for example, don't have the eyes to the same scale or on the same line relative to the rest of the face.

I find it weird that not one of us is namedropped considering its a contributor post and thus has no approvers. Even if it were one of his approvals, the flagging reason is not the place to call out other users. We have an entire forum in which to call people out.

Considering it was another Janitor that flagged them (unless someone else "snuck" this one; only Janitor+ can really tell), I doubt it.

I think it was a warning to you. Since in my view, you and flagger (no namedropping but Janitors++ know this) are often at 'opposite ends of the quality spectrum.'

Personally, I would neither approve nor flag this.
