First drawing of 2014! Late Christmas trade for my friend aeror404, hope you like it!
Tried some new things, including a little more push of "realism" into my moe style, to help mature the style in a way. I played a little Tera last night and just thought about that. I'm going to be painting my Lore of the Envoy comic, and a couple of the characters would look more moe, but some would look more realistic, and those two side-by-side would be jarring! However, the last time I tried combining the two, it seemed to make people uneasy, perhaps too forced and almost in that uncanny valley. I tried to retain the feel of "moe" here, while pushing some more realistic features.
