Is this a pun on the chinese legend about the 7 Immortals?

Not much of a pun since that would be word play but it does seem like a parody of that painting.

It's about Touhou 12. The UFO ship is called the Takarabune ingame, IIRC and I've seen theories online about how the UFO crew paralel the seven immortals.

UFO happened. It got a ship the main characters calls Takarabune (or Treasure Ship) where the UFO crew (minus Kogasa and Nue) belongs, where one of them is the disciple of Bishamonten.

How ironic that we now have a character whose name was based on Benzaiten

Hatsuyume "First dream" - The dream seen the night of January 1.
Fortunately I had a lucky dream after all.
I felt uneasy and nervous before sleeping on January 1.
However, it was little more than an illusion when I woke up.
"Takara" - treasure It means "Takarabune", the treasure ship of Shichi Fuku Jin (the seven lucky gods). If you want to dream a lucky Hatsuyume, put a picture of Takarabune under your pillow. This kanji should be originally "獏 (Baku)", Japanese nightmare-devouring creature. However, the artist changed the kanji on purpose.
