Considering its Fubuki's show, I doubt they'd go there. Not only because it be too much historical for this show, but also the real Fubuki sank in 1942.

It's not as if they're going to reenact everything that happened in WW2. After all, it's not like the Abyssal Fleet is going to win.

I love to imagine the final episode will just be all the ships sitting happily in the docks, looking out onto a bright blue sea with the shining sun hanging in the sky.

And then it smash cuts to Hiroshima and Nagasaki getting blown to bits and American Iowa's and Missou's pounding away at Korea.

Even I think that'll be fucked up. This isn't some Urobuchi fanfiction, even if they're trying so hard to make it seem like it.

I hope the final episode would just end up with all them being happy happy, with every ship that might have sunk appeared back out of nowhere through the power of love and everyone, including the Abyss, just join together to have fun and eat delicious cake.

of all the art that tried to save Kisaragi, this has got to be the best and most badass one to date..

I love the fact that fact that while everybody else in the comments is either talking about the anime or history, nobody seems to comment on the fact that the admiral IS STANDING ON THE WATER LIKE A KANMUSU!
I think what's allowing him to do that is those things near his feet, but still.
