also, regarding "source": every picture that is sourced is linked directly to the picture itself(is this a rule?) however, since this is three pictures would it be alright to list the page that held the three instead?

Link to whatever makes sense. Many pics link for instance to their originating blog posts, either because of hotlinking protection issues, or to provide additional context.
