Well well well, this definitely is an edit without credits to the original artist by a shameless Indonesian Facebook page. They even had the audacity to tell others to "include our watermark" for originality.
Isn't that quite common around these parts? Pictures of fanarts from Danbooru or/and Pixiv are usually taken without their artist's permission and used on the local anime websites. Not to mention they are frequently slapped on a poster or a button (or whatever kind of cheap merchandise you can put fan arts on) and then sold for an exorbitant price during an anime convention. All this without giving any credits, of course.

Sure, but editing it and adding your own watermark on it then having the nerve to tell others to include your watermark when reposting? You can't defend that. This argument is pretty subjective at best and we could go for hours on end about this, but it's all just about being mindful of the artist. Because let's face it, at the end of the day we wouldn't be sharing their art if we didn't think it was good. And if someone took the time to edit the image text(not even the art mind you) and add their own watermark to it, why not just Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V the source? Barely takes any time.
Yeah.. Those kind of people are plentiful. If I get a dollar every time I witnessed an artwork gets plagiarised when I am around SEA, I bet I can pay for my college fees.

Well, we don't put watermarks on artwork and claim it's ours for one.
Don't worry, danbooru. I love you, you little cardboard box.

So this is where awareness about copyrights comes to mind. Not trying to be a racist or offend anyone, this kind of thing often happens in SEA, especially the southern part. I think we should patiently wait for them to know that they were doing it wrong.

Well, there are growing numbers of circles that make merchandise with their own drawing. But it still became a pet peeve of mine that there's an unbalanced number of circles selling "merchandise" compared to "creation" (such as comic, novel, game, or even illustration book). Which is kind of sad if we consider it to represent the current market there where local artists would do better selling merchandises than making stories.
In internet though, it's a lot worse. I've somehow cared less about the translations from Danbooru being hard translated and posted to mangascan site if they don't act like they do the translations themselves. Those scanlations that doesn't even check the translations as long as they can get quick moment of fame.
But the proliferation of Facebook pages and their using translation as if they did it themselves to get Likes... Oh, and all the annoying "meme" things that's as horrible as a blatantly "funny" (read: wrong) fansub translation.
well you know indonesian :) they always claim that this is they make then the fact they stole from someone even im indonesian but im not that kind of person
You can be close with whoever you want..
You can fall in love with whoever you want..
But please, don't let it be someone I'm really close to..
It hurts..
